2We named it Yellow Foot  Oct 15, 2008
The yellow foot sensor is so sensitive that it goes off all the time, so we just named him Yellow Foot.

On the song setting, it would be nice to have a delay feature of some kind that lets the song finish even if another sensor is pushed. I can appreciate that, because of the target age, the sensors need to be easy to push, but I think they are a bit over sensitive in general. My daughter greatly enjoys the songs, which I don't find annoying personally, but we rarely get to hear them unless I hold her back from touching the toy until the end of the song!

I can see this being a very educational toy. It is fun, really, but it's definitely not a hands-on toy because of the over sensitive panels...especially the yellow foot.

And I didn't even know there was an off feature! We always turn off the battery pack.

4Great Toy for Infants  Oct 14, 2008
This was one of my sons favorite toys from about 4 months old until about 18 months. The music is excellent, and he loved poking the puppy in the belly or in the nose. The sensors are easy to push in all locations. I know this is an issue with many other toys that we own. However, this is also the only con that I have for this toy. Whenever I tried to move the puppy while my son was sleeping it would always wake up and start singing. Ugh! There I am tip toeing through his room only to step on the puppy and have it break into chorus. The good thing is that the volume is not very loud so it only woke him up one out of every ten times that I did this. The puppy is very well made, and has held up for nearly three full years. I'm sure that my new daughter will have just as much fun with this puppy as my son.

5we love this toy  Sep 15, 2008
My son loves this toy! He loves the music and all the different songs and sayings it does. I like the clear language and use of body part words and colors. I feel he is learning when he plays with this toy.
He's not a stuffed animal fan in general, but will carry his learning puppy around with him.

5Very happy  Sep 15, 2008
I bought this and another toy for my goddaughter's 1st birthday. She will play with both toys for hours on end. I am very pleased with my purchase and how quickly it arrived.

3Annoying  Sep 13, 2008
My son got this as a gift when he was 8 months old. He likes this toy, but I find it too annoying. It's very sensitive, and will change the sound effect although no one has even touched it. So it will be in the middle of a song, and switch over to something else, and then switch yet again. Great way to get your kid to have some attention deficit disorder, I think.
And personally, I think an electronic toy saying "I Love You" and "You're my friend" is insulting!
