The character visits celebrity hangouts including the sound studio, red carpet, and spa. As the celebrities enjoy their new-found success, gifts start to arrive, including fan letters, special-events invites, and more. Additional games are unlocked as the player progresses for endless entertainment opportunities. There are a wide variety of looks, clothes, and activities to experiment with. Dream Life creates a glamorous world where every kid can feel like a superstar. This product requires four AA and two AAA batteries (not included).

 Gift for granddaughter greatly enjoyed. Jun 13, 2008
We bought this for our 9 year old granddaughter and she has spent many hours playing with it. I frankly do not know if it has educational value. I have only seen her getting different jobs, getting kicked out of some for errors on questions. Her parents had approved it so I was trusting their judgment that it was Ok morally and otherwise.

Although I don't quite understand why, my nine year-old daughter loves this game. I have played it a few times and it just seems to drone on and on without any clear purpose. One thing that I do like is that it shows how you have to balance doing fun things with work and chores if you want to have spending money.

DreamLife Superstar is tons of fun for my eight yr old. No educational value since doing the dishes earns her $50.00 on this game. If that is not a shocker then how about $25.00 to take the dog for a walk. Complete fun and fantasy land but the game gets a lot of play.

I like this game because:
-You have to work hard to become a superstar.
-It's hard to make a living which makes it very fun and hard.
-It's fun because you can make your own friend.
-When you are finished with the game, you can look at a scrapbook of the game.
-It feels good when you're playing.
-Everything works very well. The graphics are cool.
-There are lots of stores you can go to and it's fun.
What I don't like about this game:
-You can't do the chores yourself, you just click on them and you get the money.
-When you go to a store, you don't go through the cash register, you just click to buy things.
I would recommend this to a friend!
